Last week I shared our newly created laundry/utility closet as part of the Proctor & Gamble and Home Depot “start clean in ’14” campaign. I am continuing this week with an organizational project that we completed a few weeks ago in our half bathroom. The bath cabinet is over 20 years old and needs to be replaced but until that happens, I decided to spruce it up with a fresh coat of paint and install a wire pullout bin. Keep reading because Home Depot is giving away a $200 Gift Card plus bathroom necessities to help you complete your own organizational project.
Here is the cabinet before. A mess of random household items.
I started by removing everything from the cabinet and adding a fresh coat of paint.
I am loving these wire pullout bins by ClosetMaid. One of the problems with deep cabinets is everything gets lost in the back, tipped over or a stacked mess.
Installation took about 5 minutes and now the cabinet stores toilet paper, hand towels and other bathroom necessities. So are you ready to start your own organizational project? Enter below via the rafflecopter widget to win a $200 Home Depot Gift Card, 1 Febreze Air Effects Linen & Sky, 1 Bounty Select-A-Size and 1 Charmin Ultra Soft.

Here is our closet makeover from last week.
Isn’t it amazing what a little elbow grease, a fresh coat of white paint and a wire pullout bin will do? This bath cabinet is now functional, stylish and organized. If you are looking for more organizational projects, be sure to checkout my project as well as six other talented blogger projects over at The Home Depot Bright Ideas website. Thank you to Proctor & Gamble and Home Depot for including me in their “start clean in ’14” campaign and motiving me to get organized! So do tell, what organizational project would you love to tackle in your home?
Disclosure: This was a two part organizational series sponsored by Home Depot and Proctor & Gamble. I was compensated for this post. All opinions and words are 100% my own.

We’ve just moved back into my childhood home and are continuing to remodel. There are tons of closets, but they aren’t very efficient. I’d love to be able to add some ClosetMaid pullout shelves and drawers in them.

I would do my tiny little bathroom closet too. I have one almost identical to yours, but it even harder to get in to because it’s right beside our sink! I would love to do this project because it is almost impossible to get to the back of the cabinet.

I’d finish my laundry room by adding a cabinet above my washer and dryer if I win! Fingers crossed.:D

I desperately need a hall closet redo! There is no organization whatsoever. It’s a double-wide closet with one pole across for hanging coats…that’s IT! No shelves, nothing!!!
It is a trainwreck with puzzles, boots, scarves, you name it scattered everywhere. One of the doors is now off-track since it’s packed full. HELP! 🙂

It looks great. I would like to do the same to lower cabinets.
