Comfort food is a regular occurrence around our home.  We love to come together to enjoy a warm and hearty meal after a long day’s work.  I am not ready to give up the warm summer weather yet but I am ready for some comfort food. I am just about done with grilled food. -ha. I love the Fall season and cooking meals in the crockpot.  Today I’m sharing some recipes that have been in our family for a long time and I know you will love them just as much as we do!  They are all easy to make and there are a few slow cooker recipes thrown in so you can fix it and go about your day, then come home to a warm meal.

  1. Do you all usually eat your meals together? How do you determine who cooks and when?

    1. We eat together once or twice a week. The rest of the week between school, sports and work (our schedules are all so different) we each plan our own families meals 🙂 My grandparents eat at 5pm on the dot every day! -ha.
