Chicken & Rice {mom’s favorite}

stick butter

crushed garlic

white rice

large chicken breast
Salt
Pepper and Onion powder
Parsley

can cream of mushroom soup
10 3/4 ounce

water
1/4
cup
white wine
optional

bag frozen broccoli

Instructions : Step by Step
Melt butter and pour in a 9x13 baking dish
Sprinkle uncooked rice over butter evenly across dish
Pour water over rice
Rinse and dry chicken breasts and use a meat tenderizer mallet on both sides of meat
Add salt, pepper and onion powder to each piece of chicken
Lay chicken on top of rice
Mix soup, wine and 3/4 of the bag of broccoli in a bowl and pour over chicken and rice
You may need to use a spatula to spread the soup mixture evenly across the chicken and rice
Sprinkle with parsley
Cover with foil
Bake 375 for 35-40 minutes or until no pink in chicken
Remove foil during last 15 minutes
