Here is the kitchen hutch wall before 

We removed the kitchen hutch wall first and the the load bearing wall allowing the room to be open into the dining and living room 

If you are removing a load bearing wall, you will need to install an engineered beam to support the above strucure

Opening up a kitchen wall adds value to any house
