Today I am sharing our Christmas home tour with you. So many fun parties going on in the blogosphere, I couldn’t resist joining :).
Our Home & Projects
It’s been a long wait but 5 months after the initial email from a Woman’s Day editor, I am excited to show you our Woman’s Day feature + behind the scenes pictures.
Our gold and silver Christmas tree this year sits proudly in our family room where the owls have moved in. I am still loving the owl trend and hoping it sticks around for a while
Today I will show you how to hang shelves quickly to create a Christmas mantel. Our fireplace mantel is in need of some TLC so until that project is finished,
My husbands bathroom is finally completed. When I tell you that this 8×10 space made me cry and almost jump out the tiny window in this room, I am not kidding
I am almost finished with our diy bathroom for my husband. I finished tiling around the fiberglass shower insert yesterday and I am hoping to have the grout finished today.

The conversion of our “walk through/transitional” room into a multipurpose mudroom and reading area is finished. Yay! Well, it’s as finished as it’s going to get for now.
Last weekend and this weekend have been all about cleaning, organizing and getting ready for winter. The lawn and patio furniture needed to be put away for the winter but that required cleaning out the storage sheds and making room.
I decided to quickly create a fall vignette on our sofa table in our family room. The only cost associated was the cute little owl that I couldn’t pass up.
Just popping in quick to say hello! We had some very special people here for 2 days this past week with lots of camera’s and a hair and makeup crew. I’m not allowed to share any pictures yet but there were 20 of us in our house for a 2 day photo shoot.
