Cottage cheese happens to be one of my all time favorite snacks and I recently whipped up the best breakfast using cottage cheese, fruit and granola. We have partnered with Hood® for the past 3 years and it’s always fun sharing how we incorporate their dairy products in our recipes. Last month we shared our 5 minute cucumber sandwiches and today I am sharing our 5 minute best breakfast cottage cheese idea. It’s so simple and really cute. Yep, breakfast ideas that are cute seem to be home runs in our house. My son always loves eating blog projects. He isn’t a fan of cottage cheese alone but when I pair it with fruit, granola or bake with is as I did when I made our quiche muffins, he seems to like it. I think the presentation makes him forget that Cottage Cheese is good for you! -ha.
Hood Cottage Cheese with Pineapple Added is the perfect flavor for this recipe but if you don’t like pineapple, just use Hood Plain Cottage Cheese.
I decided to use honey and cinnamon granola but you can use any mix of granola you want. I personally want to try the granola mix with cranberries and raisins. I think that would be delicious!
Many times I am running to a meeting or on the go and I love the use of mason jars with lids for these kinds of breakfast ideas or snacks. It’s so easy to mix them up the day or two before and grab them with you need them. I wouldn’t mix them up more than a day or two though in advance as the granola and fruit may be soggy. I find that one or two days, tops, is the perfect amount of time.

Fingers crossed she can make it to all 12 radiation visits. She has to travel by wheelchair van and it’s SO uncomfortable for her. Say a little prayer for her. She’s going to need them.
