Do you want to know the secret decorating tip on how to remove sticky price tags? This is why I always tell my friends that Goo Gone is a must when decorating. Sounds kind of stupid right? You know when you buy something and it has the price tag on it and it takes you 15 minutes to get the tag off and then the glue that is left over smears and makes a huge mess? Well I am here to tell you that Goo Gone has saved me from many messes and it literally takes the sticker price tags off in seconds with no mess.
This is NOT a sponsored post. I just happen to love this stuff.
I am creating a family wall gallery around one of our tv’s and I ended up getting 12 new picture frames and normally, I would be dreading the “de-tagging” process but a few months ago, I learned from a friend that Goo Gone removes the stickers in seconds with no mess!
It comes in a little bottle and you can get it at your local hardware department in the cleaning supplies aisle. It also comes in a spray bottle too.
Just pour a small amount on a paper towel and rub it across the tag. Let it sit for a couple seconds and peel it off.
I’ll warn you, Goo Gone is a little smelly so you may want to wear gloves if you have a lot of de-tagging to do. So there you have it , my secret decorating tip on how to remove sticky price tags. Stay tuned, the family wall gallery is coming soon!
