Our multigenerational family year in review 2012

It is hard to believe that today is the last day of 2012. It seems a bit surreal to be reflecting on the entire year  and looking back at all of the home renovations, projects and shared moments of our multigenerational family. Living with multiple generations under one roof has it’s challenges with number one being personal space and privacy. Many of the projects and renovations are geared towards creating my own families space that reflects our style. This year, I will be showing you more of the other spaces in our home including some upcoming makeovers in my mom and grandmothers part of the house. I have also shown you a bit about my grandfather’s  workshop which is his haven.

I have put together our top 10 renovation projects, makeovers and tutorials based on what you, the reader, have viewed the most.

When I first started blogging last September it was basically to keep friends and family updated on living together as a multigenerational family. It blows my mind that sharing our renovation projects to accommodate our individual families under one roof  as well as what life is like living together seems to intrigue and keep you, my awesome readers coming back. Never in a million years would I have thought that this blog would turn into a part-time job. Yes, I am now considering this a part-job. I just need to figure out how to make some money!ha.I am looking forward to sharing 2013 with all of you and thank you so much for your continued support.  This blog would be absolutely nothing without all of you visiting, reading and cheering me on. PS. our “how to build a window seat” was tied for #3 as one of your favorites.

Happy New Year and we will see you in 2013!
