Homes.com “Spring into the Dream” contest

Hi everyone!

I wanted to let you know about a cool Pinterest contest that Homes.com invited me to participate in. If you are not familiar with Homes.com, they are one of the nation’s top online real estate destinations. Not only is their site chocked full of design inspiration, but they feature more than four million property listings from affordable houses to luxurious estates, condos and much more. The site is very user-friendly which makes finding your next home or a licensed real estate agent easily accessible. In addition to their website, they also have a great blog that has a collection of DIY projects, painting, gardening and more.

I was so excited when they contacted me but even more excited about the chance to win a $500 gift card! The contest came at a perfect time because I need to get some projects done and I work best under pressure. For me, a chance to win $500 is a good motivator! Guess what, you can have a chance also to win $500 ……but I have to win first :) hehe. I’ll tell you more about that in a few.

The name of the contest is “Spring into the Dream”. I don’t know about you, but what a perfect time to spring into a dreamy, colorful and fresh looking home for the upcoming gorgeous weather months. I am sure that the title of the contest means different things for different people but for me, it’s amazing how the sun and warmer weather inspires me to freshen up our home inside and out. Over the next couple weeks I am on a mission to rejuvenate our “most lived in spaces”.

The contest period is from May 14th – 25th. Over the next 2 weeks I will be pinning like a mad woman all sorts of inspiration that reflects our family and our love for a fresh, casual and authentic home.

I have created my own “Homes.com Spring into the Dream” pinterest pinboard where you can follow along and maybe be inspired yourself :)

Better yet, you can be a part of the contest as well! All you need to do is create your own pinterest board named “Homes.com Spring into the Dream” and pin until your heart is content during the contest period what “spring into the dream” means to you. At the end of this month, Homes.com and their judging panel will award a blogger, based on their judging criteria, a $500 gift card. If by chance I happen to win, one of you will be randomly selected to win your own $500 gift card based on your pinboard that you create. I have to win though but I have some good projects up my sleeve :) !

Here is how you can enter:

1.  Create a “Homes.com Spring into the Dream” pinboard on Pinterest

     a. Re-pin two pins from Homes.com’s “Spring into the Dream” board

     b. Pin two artices from the Homes.com blog

     c. Pin anything else you find from the web onto your pinboard that you would like to include related to your “Spring into the Dream” theme

2. Follow Homes.com on Pinterest

3. Leave me a comment below with your pinboard link  (don’t forget this part)

I personally know that some of you have a Pinterest addiction so why not play along and maybe get paid for it?! In my opinion, I don’t think you have to spend loads of money, if any at all, to create a space that you love. Now that I have committed myself to these projects, my paint brush and tools await! Don’t forget to leave me your pinboard link below in the comments section.

    I love this contest! I am dreaming of a chicken coop! Can you believe it? I live in the country and I want to have little chickens in the cutest chicken coop ever!
